Competition

We are looking for a new Club Crest to be designed and we need some pictures to help us brand the club. Who better to ask than the community itself, thus we are reaching out to the local schools in the area to see if they can help us here.

Competition 1

Club Crest

The design of the Club Crest will be with us for many years to come and so its an opportunity for a little creativity from someone artistic to design it for us. Our current crest is pictured here - can you improve on it?

Competition 2

Swan Hockey!

The club needs more than a crest - as we are a new club and we need some cool and trendy images to put on our club gear - something that relates to our club name or Athenry itself.

Competition is limited to the Local Schools in the area that are listed below

School Prize

School visit by member of Ireland Women's Hockey Team - Olympic Player

The school with the winning pupil who designs the club crest will receive a visit from a member of the Irish Women's Hockey Team. She will present the winner with their prize and deliver a hockey session to all their class on the day.

Individual Prizes

The winner of the design competition will receive:

- Hockey Stick (With Club Crest)

- Club Hoodie (With Club Crest)

- Mouth Guard

- Shin Guards

- 4 Months free membership (Jan - May 2022)

The winners of the cool images will receive:

- Club Hoodie (With Club Crest)

The competition runs from Sept 1st 2021 - October 1st 2021, with the winner announced on October 22nd .

Entries to the Crest design competition to be submitted via email to admin@athenryswanshockeyclub.ie no later than 5pm on 1st October.

The Club Committee will decide the winners of all competitions and the club committee reserve the right to make a final decision on all matters related to the competition.
